I found this recipe on Linda's site. She didn't care for them very much, but I LOVED THEM. They are addictive for me so I have to watch it with them. They are kind of like nuts and I can just sit and eat them mindlessly. Next time I am going to add different spices to give them some "zing" =) BUT, they are delicious just with the salt too. I took a couple of pics, but with my camera phone so they don't look as good as I would have liked. Here is the recipe and pics! Enjoy =)
CHRIS'S UGLY GREEN BEAN SNACK
16 ounce package frozen whole green beans, do not thaw
2 tablespoons oil, about
Salt, to taste
Line a large baking sheet with heavy foil. Cut open the bag of green beans and pour in the oil. Close the bag and shake to coat the beans completely. Pour out onto the prepared baking sheet. Bake at 275ยบ for about 1 1/2 to 2 hours or until the beans are very dark and crisp, but not burnt. Remove from the oven and immediately sprinkle with salt. Chris said that they can be stored at room temperature in an airtight container, but I don't recommend that unless yours are completely crisp and you live in a dry climate.
Makes about 2 cups or four 1/2-cup servings
Freezing not recommended

these look soo yum! me and my sister have always made sauteed green beans instead of boiling them or something. You should try some lawrys on there, the seasoned salt, I am totally addicted to that stuff.
YUM!!!
I'm going to try that today =O
I'm not sure if I have "Lawrys" but I have lots of other season salts!!! That's a great idea! Thanks sweetie!!! =D
I miss you! I have finally pulled myself out of the gutter of demoralized and am eating well and blogging again. Come back, I don't want to be alone. :-)
